studio bauleute is an independent arts organization promoting the work of dn rodowick and his collaborators. The name is inspired by the parable of "the builders" in Ludwig Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations, which examines the possibilities of the elementary components of language.
The work presented here is often conceptual in nature and inspired by the relation of thought to image, and vice versa, as expressed in film, video, moving image installation, photography, and other media.
